Non believer most of my life. RN and have been seeing death nearly every shift since covid started, working in a hot spot in CA. Focused on my health and healing the past few years, was an addict for many years (now 2 years sober), and as I awakened with sobriety I started noticing a presence in my life that wasn't really me but was an influence on my life. This led to me seek a shaman and I had some work done, namely a depossession and soul retrieval, as was named by the shaman. The ritual was unreal and something felt like it was removed from me.

However, after that, strange things really started happening with demonic type occurrences, with several times a presence taunting my daughter. My 3 year old daughter told me graphic details that blew my mind of her seeing a shadowy presence that said it wanted to cut her.

One day I heard something sinister call her name "Avvvva" and my daughter came to me and said daddy did you hear that? That is when she described those details to me. Another time my wife saw something, and she is the ultimate skeptic. A red figure flashed before her eyes suddenly, and shortly after my daughter woke up screaming as if stuck in a nightmare that took 30 mins to calm her out of.

This led to a type of fear I've never felt before, and had a huge draw to seek God. Strangely though, I didn't even do any work, as He came to me in a sense, as my closest friend reached out to me randomly and asked if I wanted to speak to his pastor (my friend knew I was a lifelong agnostic). He did not know what was going on with me at the time and lives in another state. I agreed and my life has changed ever since that day.

The craziest thing is that my prayers are answered almost daily. I request simple things, nothing extraordinary, all well within good character, but every time they have been answered within a short time frame. Lifelong agnostic/soft atheist, undergrad in science, stubborn as one can get, and now I'm filled with the Holy Spirit and my prayers are answered almost daily. How can I not be a believer?

It's a blatant presence of God in my life now. I'm so thankful for it.
