A reminder of the spiritual fruit Christ grows within us. Inspired by the nine fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22–23, each little lamb represents one of the qualities the Holy Spirit forms in the life of a believer. These fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. The lamb is a symbol of innocence, purity, and the Good Shepherd who leads and cares for His people in John 10:11. Together, these nine lambs create a picture of a heart being shaped by Jesus and guided by His Spirit.
